OUAT 2021 – Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology has released the applications form for Admission into Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic courses on October 05, 2021. OUAT has already releaed Post Graduate Studies 2021-22 (Masters’ Programme in Computer Science & Application, Bioinformatics and Agribusiness Management). Candidates can fill the form from 30 Sep to 28 Oct 2021. Candidates are advised to submit the application form online by visiting official website i.e ouat.nic.in or lokaseba.odisha.in by making online payment of Rs. 1500/- & the last date of payment of application fees is 29 Oct 2021. OUAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess the minimum eligibility criteria in order to apply. Check OUAT 2021 eligibility criteria given below.

For Ph.D Courses

Microbiology	M. Sc. in Microbiology from any UGC recognised University with a minimum mark of 65% or OGPA 6.5 in 10.0 point scale.

For Postgraduate Courses

Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed Bachelor degree examination securing an Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) of at least 6.60/10.00 in ten-point scale, 3.25/5.00 in five-point scale and 2.60/4.00 in four-point scale for General Category, whereas for SC/ST/Person With Disability (PWD)/ Kashmiri Migrant/ Kashmiri Pandit (Non-Migrants) / Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) candidates, the said requirement is OGPA of at least 5.60/10.00, 2.75/ 5.00 and 2.20/4.00, respectively. In other cases, where marks are awarded instead of grade points, the candidates must have secured at least 60% marks for General Category, whereas for SC/ST/PWD/ Kashmiri Migrant/ Kashmiri Pandit (Non-Migrants) / Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) categories the requirement is 50% marks.

General Eligibility Criteria For OUAT 2021 Undergraduate Admission

• The candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from 50% marks in aggregate (for SC/ST/PwD candidates is 40%).
• Also, the applicants still appearing in class 12th can also apply.

Age Limit – A candidate must complete 17 years of age by December 31, 2021.

General Eligibility Criteria For OUAT 2021 Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic Admission

• Students having +2 Science with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST/PWD) including extra optional are eligible.
• Age: The candidate must have completed 17 years of Age by December 31, 2021.

OUAT 2021 Application Form

The Application form for Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic course is released on October 05, 2021. Eligible candidates can fill the application form for OUAT 2021 at the official website, ouat.nic.in. The application form is available online mode as per schedule. Before filling the application form, candidates should ensure their eligibility criteria and read the all-important instruction too. Step 3: Login and start filling the application form. Enter the personal details, address details, choice of exam centres etc.

Step 5: As the last step, pay theb application fee and take a printout of the application form.

Application Fee: The candidates are required to pay Rs 1500 for Post Graduate Application fees through online payment modes such as debit card, credit card and net banking.

OUAT 2021 Exam Pattern

Candidates can check the exam patter is given below to OUAt 2021.

• Duration- The duration of the test is 2 Hours
• Total Marks- The total marks of the test is 200 marks
• Sections Covered- The questions are asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and Mental Aptitude
• Marking scheme- 01 mark for the correct answers. There is no negative marking.

Exam Pattern for Post Graduate

• The Entrance Examination will be of 2 hours duration with 200 multiple choice questions of one mark each in English language only. There will be no negative mark for wrong answer. The multiple choice questions (MCQ) will covering the subjects taught in the Bachelor’s Degree level and Master’s Degree (major discipline) for Master’s and Doctoral programme respectively.
• For M.Sc. (Ag) course programme, the question of entrance test will be comprised of two parts Part-A and Part-B. There will be 180 general multiple choice questions (Non-crop specific) in part-A and 40 crop specific (Field crop and Horticultural crops in equal proportion) questions in part-B following the common syllabus of Agriculture and Horticulture faculties. Candidates have to attempt all the questions in part-A and any 20 questions from part-B. Based on total marks secured in the entrance test and extracurricular activities, a common merit list will be prepared.

OUAT 2021 Admission Process

Candidates can check the OUAT 2021 admission process is given below in details as per the previous year data.

For PG Courses:

Selection for admission into a different PG or Doctoral programme will be based on the merit of the candidates obtained in the entrace exam. There will be a common merit list for admission into the Master’s Programme of a particular faculty. Merit list of the candidates for the PG programme shall be drawn based on total weightage derived from the entrance marks plus the weightage on extracurricular activities respectively. The merit list for the Doctoral programme shall be drawn up on the basis of marks secured in the entrance examination only. In case of a tie situation happened, in preparation of merit list, the tie will be resolved by considering the OGPA / Marks in the following order:

• For Master’s Programme: Highest entrance mark followed by highest OGPA/percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (graduation level), the highest percentage of mark in +2 Science/ equivalent, and the highest percentage of marks in 10th standard examination.
• For Doctoral Programme: Highest entrance mark followed by highest OGPA/percentage of marks in Master’s level and highest OGPA/percentage of marks in Graduation level and the highest percentage of mark in +2 Science/ equivalent.

For UG Courses

Common Entrance Examination for the selection of the candidates for admission into B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc.(Hons.) Horticulture, B.Sc.(Hons.) Forestry, B.F.Sc., B.V.Sc. & A.H., B. Tech. (Agril. Engg.) and B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science courses. This given below details as per pervious year.

OUAT 2021 Answer Key

Answer key for OUAT 2021 will be available at the official website, ouat.nic.in. Candidates can check the answer key online after the successful completion of the entrance exam. For checking the application form candidates should enter the login Id and password at the candidate’s login portal. The answer key will be a pdf file in which the question number and the respective answers will be given.

OUAT 2021 Selection Process

For Master’s Programme: Highest entrance mark followed by highest OGPA/percentage of marks in qualifying examination (graduation level), highest percentage of mark in +2 Science/ equivalent (including extra optional) and highest percentage of marks in 10th standard
examination (considering all subjects studied, percentage on the basis of best of five or six subject will not be accepted.). If the tie still persists, then candidate with older in age will be ranked higher.

For Doctoral Programme: Highest entrance mark followed by highest OGPA/percentage of marks in Master’s level and highest OGPA/percentage of marks in Graduation level and highest percentage of mark in +2 Science/ equivalent (including extra optional). If the tie still persists, then candidate with older in age will be ranked higher.

OUAT 2021 Result

OUAT result will be released online at ouat.nic.in. It is available at the candidate’s login. A common merit list and category-wise merit list releases after the examination has been conducted. Those candidates whose names are in the merit list are then required to appear for counselling process.
