Talking about the storyline of the movie, Tara Kendall, played by Emmanuelle Vaugier, who wants to go away from New York City and truly detach herself from her ex-husband, rents a summer home in a small, rural Montana town that held a special place in Tara’s heart as a young child. She attributes her passion for horses and horseback riding to her time spent there.

After losing the love of his life, Sheriff Boone Taylor, essayed by Kavan Smith, has finally found his bearings. Boone treats his new neighbor with kindness, but he can’t help but feel that Tara is incredibly special and should stay for longer than just the summer. Any dreams of living in the country are crushed by the hard realities of everyday life when Tara’s stepdaughter asks for assistance. As mentioned, the movie is based on a book of the same name by Linda Lael Miller.

It is directed by Peter Benson who will also appear in the film. For those unversed, he has played some crucial roles in the Aurora Tegarden Mystery movies, Netflix’s The Baby-Sitters Club, and The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco.
